Role at Appleton
Sonia is a Compliance Officer and an integral member of Appleton’s Compliance Team. Sonia partners with Senior Management and Appleton’s various lines of business to ensure that the firm operates in accordance with rules and guidelines set forth by the Securities and Exchange Commission for federally registered investment advisors. Sonia also assists Appleton’s Chief Compliance Officer in drafting, implementing and enforcing Appleton’s various policies and procedures.
Professional Experience
Sonia joined Appleton soon after receiving her J.D. from Northeastern School of Law in May 2022. Sonia gained previous experience as an intern at Klavens Law Group, Center for International Environmental Law, and Bank of NY Mellon, among others.
