It is with sadness that we announce the passing of JP Chevriere, a longtime, admired member of Appleton Partners’ Board of Advisors, after an extended illness. JP joined Appleton’s Board in 1989 and has served our senior management team and company at large with distinction ever since.
JP was formerly President of Transmar Consult Inc., a leading advisor to the oil, gas, and engineering industries, and a member of the Rice University Engineering Department’s Forum Steering Committee. JP also had the honor of being knighted by the French Government for his many years of services to industry and French citizenry.
JP was an honors graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Science degree, B.S. Ch.E and held a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a Doctorate from the University of Paris in International Management.
JP will be greatly missed and very fondly remembered by all at Appleton.
