Role at Appleton
Lou’s responsibilities involve ensuring the reliability and performance of Appleton’s technology systems. He works closely with management across the organization to understand the relationship between technology and business needs, and identify and implement solutions. Lou is engaged in a wide range of network, server, storage hardware, and other aspects of systems development and support, while also working closely with vendors and other service providers.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Appleton, Lou worked as a network support administrator for Boston Help Desk, a role that involved meeting the diverse technical support and systems needs of corporate clients. His responsibilities included installing and deploying software and related applications, building, repairing and upgrading Mac and PC equipment, and troubleshooting IT issues. Lou previously served as a network technician at two other organizations.

Lou is originally from American Samoa and now resides in Winthrop, MA. He is currently serving in the US Army Reserve. Lou is a member of the Old Gold Rugby Team in South Boston, MA, and enjoys running, fishing, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
