Role at Appleton
Dan joined Appleton in 2003 and is Director of Equity Management and a Portfolio Manager with the Wealth Management team. He plays a lead role in formulating and implementing Appleton’s Equity and ETF strategies and oversees individual client relationships. He is a member of the firm’s Equity Investment Committee and works closely with other wealth managers and analysts on security evaluation and portfolio construction.
Professional Experience
Prior to Appleton, Dan spent five years at State Street Corporation working as an Account Manager heading a team of Fund Accountants and Portfolio Administrators. He previously worked on the floor of the American Stock Exchange as an assistant broker. Dan is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council.

Dan grew up in New York and currently resides in Hingham, MA with his wife and two daughters. When not analyzing client portfolios, Dan spends his spare time playing basketball, softball, and golf and enjoys going to Boston College football games with his family and friends.
