Jim is Managing Director of Appleton’s Private Client Services. He provides wealth planning strategies for individuals, trusts and institutions. His expertise includes guiding clients and their families through estate planning, investment, tax and gifting strategies. Jim is a member of the Appleton’s Senior Management Committee.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Appleton Partners, Jim was President & CEO of Cambridge Appleton Trust, N.A. Previously, he held the positions of Senior Vice President and Chief Fiduciary Officer at Eastern Investment Advisors. He recently served a 3 year term as a Board Member of the National Association of Estate Planners & Council (NEAPC) and is the past President of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the former Chair of the Massachusetts Bankers Trust Executive Committee. He served as a Board Member of the Caritas Carney Hospital Foundation as well as the Board of the New England Chapter of the Family Firm Institute.
